We explore how the resilience of municipalities within their regional networks can be enhanced through the orchestration of citizen-driven innovation. Our research focuses on generating design knowledge for an open digital innovation platform that supports municipalities and on identifying mechanisms to ensure its long-term sustainability. The platform is designed to enable innovators from civil society to self-organize and collaboratively develop solutions to societal challenges, particularly during times of crisis.
